The Liberator Small Batch Double Port Finish (70cl, 46%)

The Liberator Small Batch Double Port Finish is an Irish blend of single malt and single grain whisky, 42% malt and 58% grain, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle by Wayward Irish Spirits. Both whiskies first matured in ex-bourbon casks. The malt then received a tawny port finish and the grain a ruby port finish before the two were married. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. On the nose there are berries and pear with vanilla and nutty notes. The palate offers sweet apricot and cherry with vanilla and chocolate, and the finish is soft and lingering.
