The London Distillery Company – Embarque English Whisky (70cl)

Embarque is an English single malt from The London Distillery Company, finished in oloroso sherry casks from Bodegas Barbadillo. It draws on the sherry trade that brought casks from Spain to London's docks in the mid-19th century. The release is limited to 500 bottles and won Gold in the English Small Batch Single Malt No Age Statement category at the World Whiskies Awards 2026. The distillery was established in 2011. The nose offers red berries, burnt orange, cinder toffee and chocolate, with spiced molasses and cinnamon. The palate is rich and textural, with hedgerow berries, orange cordial, cocoa nibs, toasted oak and fruitcake. The finish is warming cinnamon with fading red and black berries.
