The Golden Union is a blended malt from The London Distillery Company, created as a tribute to English whisky. Each release in the series brings together malt whiskies from different English distilleries.
This first release unites malts from Adnams Distillery and The London Distillery Company, matured in a combination of hogsheads and barrels. It was released on 30 June 2025.
The nose combines creamy toffee, buttery corn, breakfast cereals and meringue with earthy notes and waxed lemons. On the palate come citrus and tropical fruit, preserved lemons and ripe mango, then white pepper spice, milk chocolate, oats and buttered toast. The finish is long, with zesty lemon and tingling cask char.
