The Lost Distillery Company Jericho 10 Year Old (70cl, 54%)

This is a 10 year old blended malt from The Lost Distillery Company, bottled at 54% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It revives the story of the closed Jericho Distillery, which stood in Aberdeenshire in the shadow of Bennachie, and offers an idea of what Jericho might taste like today. It is a micro batch release, with 250 bottles produced. The nose brings spiced fruitcake, intense Christmas cake, ginger and chocolate. On the palate there is vintage oak, honeyed malt, dark chocolate and Christmas spices, and the finish lingers with gingerbread, dark chocolate and mocha.
