The Lost Distillery Company Stratheden Classic (70cl, 43%)

Stratheden Classic is a peated blended malt from The Lost Distillery Company, made as a marriage of aged single malts and bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Stratheden distillery stood in Auchtermuchty, among the Lomond Hills. Alexander Bonthrone established it in 1829 and worked the stills for around six decades, which made him one of Scotland's oldest distillers. The distillery closed in 1926 after the loss of US exports during prohibition. The flavour runs to malty notes, orange peel, chocolate and peat.
