The Macallan 12 Year Old Double Cask is a single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It won a Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2017.
The nose is malt sweetness, gentle oak and warming spice. The palate is rounded, with caramel and vanilla, leading to a smooth, lingering finish.
