The Macallan 12 Year Old Elegancia is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky distilled in 1992. It was matured for 12 years in a combination of Oloroso and Fino sherry casks, and was once a travel retail exclusive. It comes in a 1 litre bottle at 40% ABV.
The nose has light citrus with vanilla, sweet toffee, spice and oak. On the palate, spice and citrus meet a nutty maltiness. The finish is long and smooth, with sweet toffee, spice and a touch of light oak.
