The Macallan 12 Year Old Sherry Oak is a Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. It matures entirely in hand-selected Oloroso sherry-seasoned casks from Jerez de la Frontera in Spain, which give the new make spirit its colour, aroma and flavour.
The nose is sweet, with hints of vanilla. The palate is smooth, balancing fruit, oak and spice. The finish is long, with dried fruit and further notes of oak and spice.
