This is The Macallan 12 Year Old Triple Cask Matured, a special edition single malt in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured in three types of cask: European oak and American oak seasoned with sherry, and American oak that previously held bourbon. Macallan is made at a distillery in Craigellachie, Moray, which is owned by The Macallan Distillers Ltd, a subsidiary of the Edrington Group.
