The Macallan 12 Years Old Sherry Oak is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, in a 70cl bottle.
It is matured exclusively in sherry-seasoned oak casks from Jerez in Spain, and has a rich amber colour.
The nose suggests Christmas cake, with dried fruits, ginger and a little chocolate. On the palate come sweet sherry notes, dried apricots and some spice, followed by a warmth that lingers.
