This is a 12 year old Speyside single malt from Macallan, matured only in selected oak sherry casks from Jerez. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle and has a deep gold colour.
The nose brings vanilla, a hint of ginger, dried fruit, the sweetness of sherry and some wood smoke. The palate is soft, with plenty of dried fruit and sherry balanced by smoky wood and spice. The finish carries sweet toffee and dried fruit with subtle smoke and spice.
