A 12 year old Speyside single malt from The Macallan, matured entirely in sherry oak and bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
Its flavour and colour come from first fill sherry casks made of European and American oak from Jerez, Spain.
The nose offers vanilla, a hint of ginger, dried fruit, sherry sweetness and wood smoke. The palate is soft and smooth, with sherry notes, ginger and wood smoke, and the long finish brings toffee, dried fruit and wood smoke.
