The Macallan 18 Year Old Sherry Oak is a Speyside single malt, here in its 2023 release, in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV.
It was matured for eighteen years in sherry-seasoned oak casks from Jerez, Spain, and has a natural light mahogany colour.
The nose brings sultanas, orange and cinnamon. The palate is full-bodied, with raisin, sticky date and stem ginger, followed by dark chocolate and mature oak, with sweetness and spice in balance.
