An 18 year old single malt from The Macallan, in a 70cl bottle, from the 2018 release of its Triple Cask Matured range.
The whisky is matured in a combination of European and American sherry-seasoned oak casks and American ex-bourbon oak casks. It is light amber in colour.
The nose combines dried petals, coconut, vanilla and orange citrus. On the palate it is soft and velvety, with orange, vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon. The finish is long, with chocolate orange and a hint of wood smoke.
