The Macallan A Night on Earth 2025 is a limited-edition single malt released for the new year, with a bottle design by a New Zealand artist inspired by that country's new year celebrations.
The whisky is matured in American and European sherry casks, with a small amount of whisky from American bourbon casks added to the blend. It is bottled at 43%.
On the nose there is sweet vanilla, rich toasted oak and fresh citrus. The palate brings the soft sweetness of the sherry casks together with the lighter fruit of the bourbon casks, leading to a long finish.
