The Macallan A Night on Earth - The Journey is a Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 43%. It belongs to a series that explores New Year celebrations in different cultures, and its packaging artwork was created in collaboration with designers.
The whisky is matured in sherry-seasoned American and European oak casks together with ex-bourbon barrels.
The nose brings buttered shortbread, vanilla cream, citrus zest and toasted marshmallow. On the palate there are honey, lemon sponge, baked apple and a little spice. The finish is long and lightly sweet, with vanilla, biscuit and gentle oak.
