The Macallan – Amber Meadow (The Harmony Collection) (70cl, 44.2%)

The Macallan Amber Meadow is a Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 44.2% abv. It is the third limited edition in the Harmony Collection, a series that appears each year. It was created with Stella and Mary McCartney to celebrate the fertile soils of Scotland. The whisky-making team drew on natural Scottish grassland and matured the malt in both sherry oak and bourbon casks, aiming for warm meadows and ripe barley fields. The nose shows sun-ripened orange and lemon, honeysuckle, vanilla, coconut and ripe barley. The palate brings rich oak, lemon, melon, a classic scone, almond and green tea, and the finish is rich, sweet, long and complex.
