This is the 2024 Edition of The Macallan Classic Cut, a Highland single malt bottled at 52.4% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It was matured in sherry-seasoned European and American oak and in ex-bourbon casks.
At full strength, rich vanilla is the prominent character. When water brings the strength down to 40%, tropical fruit and lemon step forward.
The nose offers rich vanilla, citrus peel and sweet oak. The palate follows with baked custard, sweet green apple and vanilla.
