The Macallan Classic Cut 2023 Edition is a cask strength single malt from Speyside, bottled at 50.3% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in American oak ex-Bourbon casks and European oak ex-Sherry butts.
The release is built around the idea of 'one cut' of water. At full strength the prominent character of the spirit is pear. When that cut of water brings it down to 40%, almond biscotti steps forward.
