The Macallan Colour Collection 12 Year Old is a Speyside single malt bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in sherry-seasoned oak casks, which give it a deep amber colour with hints of gold.
The nose offers dried fruits, oak and a little vanilla, with sweetness from the sherry. Dried fruits, warming spices and oak come through on the palate, alongside creamy caramel and toffee. The finish is lingering, with gentle warmth and a touch of oak spice.
