The Macallan Colour Collection 18 Year Old is a Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 43% ABV. It was matured for 18 years in Sherry-seasoned American oak casks, together with a significant proportion of European oak. Its auburn colour is natural.
The packaging comes from a collaboration with the artist David Carson and reflects the golden hour over the Jerez landscape.
Salted caramel, milk chocolate, dried sultanas and dates mark the nose. The palate brings vanilla sponge, poached pear, dark chocolate and ginger, and the finish is long and warm, with sweet oak, spice and orange zest.
