The Macallan – Concept No. 1 (70cl, 40%)

The Macallan Concept No. 1 is a Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 40% ABV. It is the first release in the Concept Series, a collection that links the passion behind Macallan's whisky-making with art, music and culture. This limited edition takes its inspiration from artistic surrealism. The nose is rich toffee apple with vanilla, warming oak spice and blackberry, with touches of nutmeg, rosewater and pistachio. On the palate come sweet toffee and dried apple with almond, cinnamon and softly rounded wood spice. The finish is medium-sweet and soft, with a little spice and toffee.
