The Macallan Distil Your World Mexico City is a limited edition single malt, bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to the Distil Your World collection and draws on the Day of the Dead festival in Mexico.
Illustrator Alfredo Rios created the artwork for the pack, showing cultural elements of the festival, including the marigold flower, whose aroma is thought to attract the souls of those who have passed.
The nose brings sugared pan de muerto bread, vanilla, pineapple, marigold and a hint of green coriander. The palate is sweet, with orange oil, chocolatey mole and charred pineapple, followed by a sweet finish with a note of charred coals.
