The Macallan Double Cask 18 Years is a Speyside single malt matured in sherry-seasoned casks that bring together American and European oak. This is the 2023 annual release.
The maturation adds layers of dried fruit, spice and vanilla. The nose has dried fruit, toffee and gentle spice. On the palate it is full and creamy, with orange, chocolate and honey.
The finish is long and warming, with a silky sherry sweetness.
