The Macallan Edition No 1 is a single malt from Speyside, sold in a 70cl bottle.
It was the first release in the Edition series, a run of limited bottlings issued without an age statement. Edition No 1 was the bottling that started the line.
Tasting descriptions for Speyside malt of this kind usually point to dried fruit and vanilla, with a rounded, unpeated character.
