The Macallan – Edition No. 5 Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl)

The Macallan Edition No. 5 is a single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle. It marks the natural colour range of The Macallan and the detail of its whisky making. The edition was made in partnership with specialists at the Pantone Color Institute, who created a particular shade of purple for the packaging. The whisky itself is a colour the distillery calls Sunlight Barley. The nose combines vanilla and toffee with oak, nutmeg, ginger, lemon basil and pear. On the palate it is fresh and sweet, with caramel giving way to poached peaches and ripe pear, then toffee and light oak spice. The finish is long and sweet.
