Sarah Burgess, formerly Lead Whisky Maker at Macallan, selected the cask for its distinctive characteristics.
The nose brings vanilla, oak, marzipan, Christmas cake and cherry pie. The palate is smooth, with toffee and caramel, and the finish is long with lingering sweet oak.
