The Macallan Fine Oak Triple Cask 12 Year Old is a Speyside single malt, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is made from whiskies matured for at least 12 years.
Three cask types go into it: European oak sherry casks, American oak sherry casks and American oak bourbon casks.
The nose has fresh citrus and orchard fruit with vanilla cream, a little toasted coconut and gentle oak spice. The palate is light, with honeyed malt, ripe melon and soft oak. The finish is crisp and clean, with sweet spice and lingering vanilla.
