The Macallan Gold is a limited edition Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, presented in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to the 1824 Series, which was produced between 2012 and 2018.
All of the whisky was matured in sherry oak casks from Jerez, Spain. The 1824 range has since been discontinued. Gold alone was retained, and it now forms the entry level of the Double Cask series.
