The Macallan – Harmony Collection Coconut (70cl)

This is a Speyside single malt from The Macallan, part of its Harmony Collection, in a 70cl bottle. The collection uses organic materials for its packaging. The coconut character comes from sherry-seasoned American oak casks, chosen for the high level of oak lactones in the wood. These lactones strengthen the coconut aromas and flavours, which are then refined by the use of bourbon casks.
