The Macallan Harmony Collection Inspired by Fresh Coconut is the sixth and final release in The Macallan's Harmony Collection. It is a Speyside single malt bottled at 46.3% ABV, without chill filtration.
The coconut character comes from cask choice. Sherry seasoned American oak casks, selected for a high level of oak lactones, form the core, and bourbon casks add vanilla and citrus.
The nose offers fresh coconut and coconut milk with lime zest, lemon peel and orange, alongside mango, papaya and vanilla. The palate is creamy, with sweet lime, lemon biscuit, vanilla icing and grated coconut, and the finish is fresh and lightly floral with lingering coconut.
