This Speyside single malt from The Macallan's Harmony Collection is inspired by fresh coconut and bottled at 46.3% ABV in a 75cl bottle. Its colour is described as king coconut.
The coconut character comes from sherry-seasoned American oak casks, chosen for their high levels of oak lactones, and refined by bourbon casks. The Harmony Collection also uses organic materials in its packaging.
The nose combines fresh coconut, lime, lemon, orange, mango and papaya with vanilla, almond, sweet oak, nutmeg and cinnamon. The palate has sweet lime, vanilla sponge, desiccated coconut, icing sugar, coconut milk and dried tropical fruits. The finish brings coconut and floral honey.
