The Macallan Inspired by Intense Arabica is the second release in the Harmony Collection, a limited annual series of single malts, bottled at 44% abv. It takes its inspiration from the Ethiopian Arabica bean, and Whisky Maker Steven Bremner held a masterclass with coffee specialists to explore the process from field to cup.
Each release in the collection has distinctive packaging that gives organic by-products a new use.
The whisky is described as having a distinct coffee character, with espresso, dark chocolate, sweet oak and tiramisu.
