The Macallan M Black is a 2022 release single malt Scotch whisky, in a 70cl bottle at 45% ABV. It is made from peated Macallan spirit that has matured over decades in black-ended, sherry-seasoned oak casks held at the Macallan Estate.
The whisky is presented in a decanter hand crafted from black Lalique crystal.
It is described as subtly smoky and brooding, with warming wood spices opening to dark chocolate and ginger, and a lingering trace of peat.
