The Macallan – Rare Cask Black Gold Box Edition (70cl)

This is The Macallan Rare Cask Black Gold Box Edition, a single malt in a 70cl bottle. It is made from select casks that the Macallan Whisky Master team found standing out in their warehouses. These casks are described as having an intense sweet raisin flavour and a rich, velvety mouthfeel. The whisky is burnished amber in colour. The nose offers dried fruits, nutmeg and oak. On the palate come dates, figs and raisins with some smoke. The finish is long and fruity, with an elegant wood smoke.
