The Macallan – Reflexion

Reflexion is a single malt from The Macallan Decanter Series, which was created to show the range of the distillery's natural colour. It is shaped mainly by first-fill sherry-seasoned oak. The whisky matured in hogshead casks, whose smaller size gives more wood contact. Both Spanish and American oak influence its character, and its colour and flavour come from the first-fill casks. It is described as bold and full bodied, with floral and vanilla notes alongside fresh apples and apricots.
