The Macallan Sherry Oak 12 Years Old is a single malt from the Sherry Oak Collection, bottled at 55% (110 proof) in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in European oak casks seasoned with sherry in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, and has a natural gold colour.
The nose offers dried fruit, candied citrus peel and oak, with ginger and nutmeg. The palate has raisins and sultanas with ginger syrup, a touch of sweet cinnamon and a hint of vanilla. The finish is long, with oak and warming ginger.
