The Macallan Sherry Oak 18 Years Old is a Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 43% ABV with natural colour.
It is distilled from malted barley in the distillery's small stills and matured in Oloroso sherry-seasoned European oak casks from Jerez, in Spain.
The nose brings dried fruit, ginger and toffee, with hints of vanilla, cinnamon and polished oak. The palate is rich and full, with baked orange, dried fig, nutmeg and dark chocolate in a silky texture. The finish is long and warming, with lingering sweet spice and dried fruit.
