A 25 year old single malt from The Macallan, part of its Sherry Oak range, in a 750ml bottle at 43% ABV.
The whisky spent the full 25 years in Oloroso sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez, Spain, left undisturbed in the same casks throughout. The colour is a rich mahogany.
The nose is citrus balanced with cinnamon, sherry and wood smoke. The palate is full and rich, with dried fruits and a hint of wood smoke. The finish is long, with dried fruit, wood smoke and spice.
