The Macallan Sherry Oak Cask 18 Years Old is the 2025 release of an annual Speyside single malt, in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV. It is matured for a minimum of 18 years on The Macallan Estate, mostly in sherry-seasoned European oak casks from Jerez in Spain, and has a natural mahogany colour.
It belongs to The Macallan Sherry Oak Collection. Ginger, dates and dark chocolate define the character, with dried fruit, sweet spice and polished oak behind them.
The nose is rich, with dried fruit, dates and ginger. The palate is full and layered, with dark chocolate, dried apricot and raisin. The finish is long and warming, with dried fruit and oak spice.
