The Macallan 'The Harmony Collection' Inspired by Fresh Coconut is the sixth and final release in the Macallan's Harmony series. Master Whisky Maker Kirsteen Campbell chose sherry-seasoned American oak casks, whose high level of oak lactones brings out coconut, and finished the blend with ex-bourbon casks. No flavouring was added. It is bottled at 46.3% ABV, in a box made from repurposed coconut fibres.
The nose leads with fresh coconut and lime, with mango, papaya and vanilla. The palate is sweet and creamy, with coconut milk, vanilla sponge and dried coconut. The finish is floral and honeyed, with coconut lingering.
