The Macallan Rich Cacao is a Speyside single malt from The Harmony Collection, a series that explores unusual flavour pairings. It is a limited edition, bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The whisky is matured in a selection of oak casks, chosen to balance the signature richness of The Macallan with cacao-led flavours. In the tasting notes, the nose has dark chocolate, roasted coffee beans and subtle spice. The palate brings rich cacao, espresso, dried fruits and warming oak. The finish is long, with bittersweet chocolate and gentle spice.
