The Macallan – The Harmony Collection Rich Cacao (70cl)

The Macallan The Harmony Collection Rich Cacao is a single malt made in collaboration with the pastry chef Jordi Roca of the three Michelin star restaurant El Celler de Can Roca. It is the first limited edition in a new annual release series. Whisky Maker Polly Logan travelled to Girona, Spain, to explore chocolate making at Casa Cacao. The whisky is made from a combination of European and American oak casks. The colour is toasted cacao beans. The nose offers chocolate fondant, honey, oak, zesty lime and ginger, while the palate brings dark chocolate, honey, dates, vanilla and cinnamon. The finish is long, with rich chocolate.
