The Nine Springs Acacia is a seven-year-old single cask whisky from Eichsfeld in Germany, in a 50cl bottle at 48% ABV.
It spent five years in ex-bourbon and Bordeaux wine casks, then a further two years in acacia casks. The outturn is 998 bottles.
The nose offers blackcurrant, red fruits, hazelnuts, muesli and black tea. The palate is robust, spicy and full, and the finish is very long and dry.
