The whisky spent all seven years in a former Bordeaux cask. It is described as robust, with spicy and fruity aromas, the spicy ones coming through a little more clearly.
The nose offers roasted notes, cedar wood, leather, quince paste, walnuts, fruit and dried mango. The palate is robust, spicy, fruity and nutty, and the finish is very long and fruity.
