This is The Original Hundred Pipers, a blended Scotch whisky from the 1960s. It is a blend of between 25 and 30 whiskies, and takes its name from the hundred pipers who walked ahead of Bonnie Prince Charlie into battle. The whisky is very pale in colour. The palate is smooth and creamy, with light touches of vanilla and dried fruit, and a gentle warmth that turns slightly spicy.
