The Pogues Irish Whiskey (70cl, 40%)

An Irish blended whiskey made by West Cork Distillery as a tribute to the Irish folk-punk band The Pogues. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. The blend is half grain and half malt whiskey. It was triple distilled and matured in oak for three years and a day. The character is layered, with nutty, spicy and fresh aromas. The nose brings dried fruit, sweet caramel, citrus and honey. The palate is very soft and lightly malty, with dried fruit, sweet caramel and shortbread biscuit. The finish is long, malty, sweet and spicy.
