West Cork Port Cask Finish is a single malt Irish whiskey made from Irish barley and triple distilled in pot stills. It is aged for at least 12 years in ex-bourbon American oak casks.
It then spends 110 days in casks that previously held Port from the Douro Superior region of Portugal.
The nose is fruity, with grape, vanilla, blueberry and mint. The palate is soft and sweet, with cherry, strawberry, vanilla and chocolate. The finish is elegant and of medium length, with oak and chocolate.
