West Cork Original Blend Irish Whiskey (75cl, 40%)

West Cork Original Blend is an Irish blended whiskey, made from grain and malt whiskies by West Cork Distillers. It is triple distilled in copper pot stills and matured in bourbon casks. It is bottled at the distillery in Skibbereen, County Cork, without chill filtration. The distillery began in 2003 with two small stills in a house in Union Hall, and the blend is built on local ingredients. The notes describe honey and malt, with vanilla and light citrus from the bourbon casks, a little sweet spice mid-palate and a smooth, clean finish.
