West Cork Calvados Cask Finish is an Irish single malt whiskey in a 70cl bottle. It comes from West Cork, a craft distillery founded in 2003 in County Cork. It is made from Irish barley and triple distilled in pot stills.
The whiskey is matured for at least 12 years in American oak ex-bourbon casks, then finished in casks that previously held Garnier Calvados.
The nose is fruity, with apple, pear and almond. The palate is soft and sweet, with dried fruit, vanilla, caramel and pear. The finish is long.
